Wednesday, March 23, 2022 - 10:30am to 12:00pm
In this workshop, we ask how our syllabi can be sites for reimagining and restructuring a small part of the vast educational project. Together we will learn about and discuss one model for developing and engaging a living syllabus: a syllabus that unfolds through collective, relational processes in the context of one course. You are invited to bring a syllabus in any stage of (re)development.
Led by Sabina Vaught, professor and chair of the Pitt’s Department for Teaching, Learning, and Leading, this workshop will build on the work begun in HAA’s fall 2020 Anti-Racist Pedagogy Workshop and spring 2021 Pedagogy Seminar. This event is geared towards HAA graduate students and faculty and is open to all who are interested!
This is an HAA GSO professional development initiative and is organized by Janina Lopez. Please direct any questions regarding the event to Janina at jsl72@pitt.edu.
The workshop will take place via Zoom. Zoom details are as follows: https://pitt.zoom.us/j/92554448478 (Meeting ID: 925 5444 8478)
