“The Pedagogical Value of Provenance Research in Rare Book and Cultural Heritage Collections”
Kiana Jones will present her work on rediscovering the Frick Fine Arts Library’s first collection and why provenance research in rare book and cultural heritage collections has pedagogical value. This presentation will be an in depth version of her talk on this topic recently given at the Art Libraries Society of North America Conference, where she presented in a session titled “A Value Proposition: Understanding Distinctive, Special, and Archival Collections.”
