The History of Art and Architecture Department would like to congratulate the following recipients of the 2013-2014 Milton Fine Museum Professional Fellowships:
- Kathryn Scheuring (HAA 2013) will be working in the summer of 2013 with Jason Busch, Chief Curator and the Alan G. and Jane A. Lehman Curator of Decorative Arts, Rachel Delphia, and Dawn Reid at the Carnegie Museum of Art
- Stephanie Selya (HAA 2014) will be working in the 2013-2014 academic year with Janet McCall, Executive Director of the Society for Contemporary Craft
- Kristen Whitlinger (HAA 2013) will be working in the summer of 2013 with Nicholas Chambers, the Milton Fine Curator at the Andy Warhol Museum
The fellowships are provided through the generosity of the Fine Foundation which supports three History of Art and Architecture majors annually in substantive internship experiences, pairing students with local arts professionals. Each recipient is awarded a $3500 stipend which enables them to devote themselves more fully to the position and benefit from the direct mentorship of accomplished professionals in the field. Fine Fellowship applications are posted every February, with applications due in March. Students interested in applying for fellowships in the future should consult with Gretchen Bender about how to better prepare for this opportunity and build a strong application. The positions are open to all HAA majors. Graduating seniors can apply for summer fellowship positions.
