The American Association of University Women has awarded Dr. Brianne Cohen (PhD 2012) a Postdoctoral Research Leave Fellowship for her current research on ecological devastation and the formation of critical publics in Southeast Asia, particularly Vietnam, Cambodia, and Singapore. Dr. Cohen specializes in contemporary art history and visual culture with a particular emphasis on decolonization, political violence, and ecology and environmentalism. The Center for Humanities and the Arts at the University of Colorado Boulder has also awarded Dr. Cohen a Faculty Fellowship to pursue this research. Read more about the project on the AAUW website.
