Back in February 2014, the University of Pittsburgh Art Gallery presented a one-day event to celebrate Galileo’s 450th birthday. The event brought together creations by three artists - paintings by Michael Morrill, a video piece by Aaron Henderson, and a musical composition by Phil Thompson.
Phil Thompson’s string trio, Nocturnes, created in response to Michael Morrill’s Linea Terminale, will be performed again this coming Friday, November 21st at the Union Project, at 8 PM.
The show is free. The Union Project is located at 801 N. Negley ave, Pittsburgh, 15206.
