Graduate Student Janina Lopez has co-facilitated a workshop with Pitt’s Center for Urban Education’s bell hooks Study Group. This workshop, entitled “bell hooks: teaching to transgress, teaching transgressive expressive culture, teaching expressive freedom,” explored the educational legacy of bell hooks. Lopez organized this study group with Professor Sabina Vaught from the Department of Teaching, Learning, & Leading.
