The Nationality Rooms and Intercultural Exchange Programs have awarded graduate student Kathryn Carney a James W. Knox Memorial Award to support archival research at the German Hygiene Museum in Dresden this summer. This research is for her dissertation on the role of early 20th century hygiene exhibitions and the impact on body politics under shifting political regimes.
