Marion Dolan (2007) has written her second book with Springer Publishing, Switzerland. The book Decoding Astronomy in Art and Architecture was published in October 2021.
While locked down with Covid the past year or so, she pulled together years of research in archaeoastronomy and presented numerous examples of early architecture and artworks that encoded important astronomical knowledge, from cave art to the Scrovegni Chapel. The book includes the latest discoveries in history of astronomy but interprets them for non-specialists. It is available in both softcover and ebook and has been very well received. She delivered a paper at the prestigious History of Astronomy Workshop in 2019 at Notre Dame and will present a paper on the Astronomy in Aratea manuscripts in June, hopefully it will not be canceled.
