Rebecca Lowery

Biography

Rebecca Lowery studies artistic production from the early modern period principally in the Northern Italian cities of Turin and Milan. Her research focuses on patronage and collecting practices within the court environment during the 16th and 17th centuries. She is concerned more generally with questions of artistic geography, materiality, and gender.
