In her role as Luce Assistant Curator at the American Folk Art Museum in New York City, PhD student Brooke Wyatt curates her first show, "Material Witness: Folk and Self-Taught Artists at Work." The show opens March 17-October 29, 2023 and features some 150 works of art spanning four centuries. Wyatt's curatorial engagement at the Museum supports her ongoing dissertation research into the life and work of the French self-taught artist Séraphine Louis.
