Biography
Tihitina Dagnachew is a Hot Metal Bridge Fellow specializing in Italian Renaissance art. She received a BA in Sociology from the University of Virginia and possesses a solid foundation in the social sciences. Her passion for art history was sparked in the fall of her final year of college, when she took a course on Italian Renaissance art. This led her to study abroad in Rome, Italy, during her final semester, immersing herself in the city's beauty and rich culture. Tihitina aims to blend her interests in art history and sociology by exploring the patronage system to uncover insights into the social hierarchy of fifteenth-century Italy.
